Details
We will partner with Graceworks Alaska to bring the hope of Jesus to one of the most spiritually underserved places in our nation. Did you know that Alaska is the least church-attending state in the U.S.? While many see Alaska as simply a beautiful tourist destination, there is a deep and urgent need for the Good News of Jesus.
Graceworks Alaska serves some of the most diverse communities in America—three of the top five most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in the U.S. are located in Anchorage, and Graceworks is actively serving in all three. Their vision is bold: to see a multiplying, church-planting Jesus Movement take root across Alaska. They are deeply committed to partnering with others in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting to see lives and communities transformed.
Teams will be well cared for during the trip, with clean, comfortable, and safe housing, and some of the best food you’ll find on a mission trip. In addition to ministry, you’ll also have opportunities to experience and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Alaska.
This trip is family-friendly and open to families with children ages 9 and up, making it a powerful opportunity to serve together and grow in faith as a family.
Ministry opportunities include:
- Serving meals to those experiencing hunger
- Leading backyard Bible schools
- Playing recreational games with children and families
- Creating crafts and engaging in relational outreach
This is an incredible opportunity to be part of what God is doing in Alaska—both in the hearts of people and in the story He is writing across the state.
